Grossman Gallery

Grossman Gallery presents exhibitions by contemporary visiting and regional artists, and work by Lafayette faculty and students, with related programs that foster dialogue about art and artmaking.

The gallery is located in the Williams Visual Arts Building on the Williams Arts Campus in Easton. The 23,500-square-foot facility, converted from the former Hoffman Motors building in 2001, is dedicated solely to the visual arts and supports creative exchange between students, faculty, and the community.

GROSSMAN VISITING ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE

  • The Richard A. and Rissa W. Grossman Artist-in-Residence and Exhibition Series was established by Richard A. Grossman ’64 and his wife, Rissa W., to provide opportunities for intensive interaction between students and major artists. The series also supports presentations of significant exhibitions. The program has brought to campus some of the most significant artists of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. The strength of the residency lies not only in the quality of the artists but also in the intensity of their interaction with the students. Grossman Artists and Exhibitions*
