Latent Commons examines the environmental impact of everyday consumption through hyper-realistic photographs of discarded single-use plastics. By focusing on these micro landscapes, the series transforms community-collected materials into imagined cosmoses influenced by science fiction and outer space.
Neither utopian nor dystopian, the photographs invite viewers to consider the complex relationship between human behavior, material culture, and the uncertain future of our shared environment.
