Martha Jackson Jarvis: Ancestor’s Bones

Drawings, paintings, digital imagery, and sculpture by Jarvis blur the boundaries between sequential and spatial narratives. The work explores relationships and contingencies, linking histories and spirits captured in a vintage photographic album and in the physical materiality of nature.

Ancestors’ Bones, installation view at Williams Center Gallery.
