The Vase Project: Made in China–Landscape in Blue

The Vase Project is a fascinating exploration of contemporary industrial-landscape imagery in the context of the traditional, idealized Chinese landscape. The installation of vases by 101 blue-and-white painters of Jingdezhen, China, also raises questions about the nature of replication, interpretation, and originality.
