Engineering Artifacts: Past, Present, & Future

The tools engineers use to design, build, and connect our world have evolved. Artifacts of engineering education and practice from College Hill and the Lehigh Valley demonstrate evolving notions of efficiency, safety, sustainability, and technological progress. This collection marks the College’s Bicentennial (and the 160th anniversary of engineering majors at Lafayette) and also looks toward the future.

This exhibition showcases the tools that engineers have used over the past 200 years.
