Choreography by Jessica Warchal-King
What happened to the people and environments left behind after the natural disasters along the Delaware River? This performance, a collaboration with sculptor and visual artist Alison Saar, will be an abstract dance exploration in response to this question, with an opportunity for the audience to engage in an act of community building and hope.
The community building part of the project includes a Movement Meditation Mandala and incorporates religious studies classes, psychology classes, and the Imagining America project at Lafayette.

A collaboration between the Lafayette Art Galleries and Choreographers on Campus
Through a generous grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Lafayette College launched a 3-year initiative that brings established and emerging choreographers to the classrooms, studios and stages of area colleges.
