Requiem: Unveiled

Unveiled is a wall-sized installation of a small portion of the mitrochondrial genome sequence of passenger pigeon #1 provided by Ben J. Novak.  Novak is the lead researcher of Revive and Restore’s “Great Comeback” project, and  is working to assemble the genome of the passenger pigeon in an attempt to restore the species.
